Challenging Neglect is a podcast series exploring neglected tropical diseases from different perspectives. There has been an increasing interest in these diseases – endemic in the poorest regions of the world – in various fields. The purpose of this podcast is to take a step further in the discourse.
The overarching aim is to explore disease from a mixture of conceptual lenses including policy, philosophy, history along with biomedical sciences in order to offer a multifaceted picture of a rising global health concern by facilitating dialogue.
Challenging Neglect consists of interviews by Samantha Vanderslott and Erman Sozudogru with high profile personalities contributing to research in order to demonstrate the diversity in approaches to NTDs. We have an interdisciplinary approach, helping to bring different narratives together and engage with wider audiences.
